Yolanda Gonzalez comes from a family of artists dating back to 1877,
creating works of art herself professionally for the last 24 years;
leading us through a world of imagination & emotion.
The art work of
Yolanda consists of strong, bold, brush strokes, color and texture. We
realize the world of Yolanda Gonzalez is one of curiosity, love and
fascination for the people & realm we live in.
The works of art
created especially for this exhibition, …mud, are addressing the
underlying issues we as Latinos face. These issues are present here as is
in any other culture. The fascinating part to me is the manner in which
they are handled by those experiencing these issues. We as Latinos strive
in a positive manner to break the cycles which are handed down generation
through generation.
