TILFORD ART GROUP
Tilford Art Group (T.A.G.) grew out of a love of collecting art, from a desire to create art which inspired a need to promote art.
Gallery Director / Curator Terrell Tilford, along with his wife and Project Coordinator, Victoria Platt Tilford, best friends & partners Bryan C. Payne, Head of Business Development and Reggie Coleman, Director of Publicity and Educational Development are firmly devoted to promoting the emerging artist from the United States and abroad, while providing a sacred space for artistic discussion, education and celebration.
Along with that education, T.A.G. seeks to continuously recognize the Master artist, particularly those of the African Diaspora and Latin America, from whom many of the young and Emerging artists have drawn their inspiration.
The unique success of Tilford Art Group has been the subject of the feature-length documentary, Strokes of Genius, directed by Erin Fitzgerald, which is available on DVD for .
Tilford Art Group made its debut with the Artist Showcase Series of New York City with MMFineArts and BTK Fine Art Consulting in June 2002 and expanded its operations to Los Angeles in February 2003.
Since its inception, T.A.G. has donated to numerous non-profit organizations and continues its comittment to improving communities by joining the 1% for the Planet campaign and The Global Fund, sponsored by (RED).
